On Eating...First Thing in the Morning

For most of us, our body structures can’t handle it when we eat sweet foods first in the morning on an empty stomach. We have been told how an apple a day will keep the doctor away. However, if those of us who have weak Stomach eat an apple as the first thing each morning, it will be a very different story. That apple, upon entering the empty stomach, will create excess acid and agitate the stomach wall. This in turn will plunge the body into an emergency shock mode until the body system sufficiently recovers from the distress. We need to understand that for some of us, our body system can only tolerate this for a short time.

However, what if we have a very strong Stomach and eat an apple first thing in the morning because we’ve been told that it’s good for us? In this case, our body system will divert all of the liquid from the other organs and send it to the Stomach. If we continue this habit without supplying sufficient Kidney energy to our body system, we will encounter serious health issues and Kidney-related problems such as kidney stones, thyroid issues, circulation problems, diabetes, muscle and joint issues, fatigue, teeth problems, and so on.

Sometimes, what is supposed to be good for us is simply wrong for our body type. If we have a strong Lung body structure and eat tomatoes on an empty stomach at the beginning of the day because it’s supposed to be good for us, we won’t be functioning well due to excess acidity created by the tomato. Our body becomes agitated and unhappy because it is the wrong food for this body structure. However, for other body structures, tomatoes can be beneficial.

All of us are built differently with different combinations of organ energy strengths. It is essential that we listen to our body signals and work with our body system when eating the foods that are supposed to be good for us. Ultimately, it is our body that will tell us whether the food is beneficial or not.

No matter how good certain food items may be for us, we must know when to eat and when not to eat them. If we eat certain beneficial foods at the wrong time, or in the wrong sequence, they won’t do much for us other than to create problems. If some of the food items aren’t working for our body structure, let’s not argue with logic. Our logic won’t be able to change any of our body’s problems. Simply avoid the food, or find another way to eat it without causing unnecessary harm.

Our body has told us many times that the troubling foods aren’t working for us. How much damage do we need to inflict on ourselves before finally listening to what our body is telling us and becoming free from our agonies?

Let’s learn to know what works and doesn’t for our body system, and make adjustments accordingly.
